Possessing an unusual genetic profile with eight sets of chromosomes (you only have two), they can be hybridized in an astounding variety of size, form, and color.  From small ball-shaped blooms to giant dinner-plate sized blossoms,  dahlias offer limitless rewards to any gardener.

He is a frequent speaker for NJ garden clubs.
