STEAM @ the Scotch Plains Public Library

Our Youth Services Department offers a wide range of STEAM based activities, programs and resources for families. These programs are to help our community members develop a life-long love of reading and learning while focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.  Attending one of our programs is a wonderful way to introduce children to the library and offer additional learning experiences outside of a school setting.

STEAM For Little Learners

Our littlest learners can explore several of the STEAM principles through one of our interactive storytimes, crafts and more. Check out our storytime schedule.

**Please note: During a recent review of Fiero Code’s newer AI-related courses, the library learned that some activities may direct users to external third-party websites or tools that could require account creation or an email address. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to supervise children when using online platforms and to review any third-party services before providing personal information.**
