About Membership…
The Friends of the Scotch Plains Public Library is open to all interested adults and youth, and membership is accepted throughout the year (Family $25; Individual $10). Membership runs according to our fiscal year – July 1 through June 30. Contributions are tax-deductible. And remember to check with your employer for matching funds.

Who Are the Friends?
The Friends of the Scotch Plains Public Library is a devoted group of volunteers bound by a common objective to fortify and enrich the essential resources and services offered by the Scotch Plains Public Library. Through our unwavering commitment, we strive to raise funds that strengthen and expand the library programming including summer reading, adult and youth programs, and the museum pass initiative. We aspire to cultivate an enduring passion for literature, propel lifelong learning endeavors, and foster a sense of intellectual and social belonging within the Scotch Plains community.
